Meet Chris

Chris is President and a member of the Office of the CIO, responsible for all aspects of Strategic’s investment process, portfolios, and performance. He is a member of the Strategic’s Board of Directors and serves on the firm’s Executive Committee, charged with setting firm strategy and overseeing the management of day-to-day operations. Chris supports Strategic’s research efforts in strategic asset allocation, dynamic asset allocation, and risk budgeting. He works closely with investment, research, and analytical staff in developing, integrating, and implementing investment policy for the firm’s clients.  

Prior to joining Strategic, he was Managing Director and Senior Portfolio Manager of the Goldman Sachs Asset Management Multi-Asset Solutions team in New York, working with endowments, foundations, pensions, financial intermediaries, and sovereign institutions in designing, implementing, and overseeing multi-asset portfolios. Prior to Goldman Sachs, he worked at Towers Perrin in Philadelphia as an Actuarial Associate and Consultant.

Chris holds a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania with concentrations in Actuarial Science and Accounting. He is a CFA charterholder, member of the New York Society of Security Analysts, and an Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA).
