Co-Chief Investment Officer
Chris is Co-Chief Investment Officer of Strategic, a role he shares with Eric Bendickson, Markus Krygier, and Tim O’Hara. As Co-CIO, he is responsible for all aspects of Strategic’s investment process, portfolios, and performance. Chris also supports Strategic’s research efforts in strategic asset allocation, dynamic asset allocation, liability driven investment, and risk budgeting. He works closely with investment, research, and analytical staff in developing, integrating, and implementing investment policy for the firm’s clients. Prior to joining Strategic, he was Managing Director and Senior Portfolio Manager of the Goldman Sachs Asset Management Multi-Asset Solutions team in New York, working with endowments, foundations, pensions, financial intermediaries, and sovereign institutions in designing, implementing, and overseeing multi-asset portfolios. Prior to Goldman Sachs, he worked at Towers Perrin in Philadelphia as an Actuarial Associate and consultant.
Chris holds a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania with concentrations in Actuarial Science and Accounting. He is a CFA charterholder, member of the New York Society of Security Analysts, and an Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA).
