David J. Ordoobadi, CFA Mr. Ordoobadi is responsible for client service at Strategic and contributes to the firm’s investment teams and economic research. Prior to joining Strategic, Mr. Ordoobadi was Assistant Director in the Finance Department at the International Monetary Fund (IMF), where he was responsible for the design and implementation of strategic asset allocation policies and development of new income sources. Mr. Ordoobadi created a framework for integrating capital markets and macroeconomic analysis into the IMF’s assessment of global financial stability and was one of the principal authors of the IMF’s Global Financial Stability Report. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Bank-Funds Staff Federal Credit Union, where he sits on the Finance and Strategic Planning Committees. He holds an M.B.A. from the Institut Européen d’Administration des Affaires in Fontainebleau, France, a postgraduate diploma from the London School of Economics, an M.Phil. from Oxford University, and a B.A. from Bowdoin College, Brunswick, Maine. Mr. Ordoobadi is a member of the CFA Institute and has completed the Series 3 and 65 securities examinations. He holds the Professional Risk Manager (PRM) designation and is a member of the Professional Risk Managers’ International Association. |
