Mary C. Choksi Founding Partner
Ms. Choksi is a key contributor to the development of Strategic’s overall investment policy, and to the firm’s business development and client service efforts, with extensive expertise in the area of non-U.S. investments and manager incubation programs. She serves on the Boards of Directors of the Omnicom Group Inc. and Avis Budget Group, Inc., where she sits on the Audit and Governance Committees. She is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Protestant Episcopal Cathedral Foundation, where she chairs the Audit Committee, and is a member of the Advisory Council of the Hubert H. Humphrey School of Public Affairs. She is a past director of the H.J. Heinz Company and past trustee of the Beauvoir School, the St. Albans School for Boys, and The National Museum of Women in the Arts. Ms. Choksi was previously a Managing Director of Emerging Markets Management, L.L.C., and a Senior Loan Officer and Senior Pension Investment Officer at the World Bank. She holds an M.A. in Public Affairs and a B.A. in French from the University of Minnesota. She also holds an M.A. in International Affairs and has completed all doctoral studies (except dissertation) in International Studies at Johns Hopkins University. Ms. Choksi has completed the Series 65 and 3 securities examinations. |
